Idea Design Studio’s upcoming inventor, Micah Bradbury, is a second class aviation maintenance technician serving in the US Coast Guard and currently residing in Sacramento, CA. His unit specializes in Search and Rescue and counter-narcotics.

He and his wife are both originally from, Kodiak, Alaska. Because they grew up in a relatively small town, Mrs. Bradbury hasn’t always felt safe in the bigger cities they have been stationed in throughout her husband’s military career.

Shortly after having their home broken into, Bradbury came up with the perfect solution. He did an extensive search for the product he had in mind and discovered it wasn’t on the market yet. That is when he contacted Idea Design Studio and began working towards making his idea a reality, as well as making his home safer for his wife and sons.

He adds,

“My greatest accomplishments are my children. I try to be the best parent and role model for them.”

According to, there is a home invasion approximately every 18 seconds in the United States. Most burglars tend to avoid homes with security systems or visible activity inside.

When Bradbury isn’t working on his invention with Idea Design Studio, he can be found spending time with his family or in the great outdoors, hunting, snowboarding and camping.
